FEMA Recognizes Cabarrus Project

Cabarrus County has been featured in FEMA's Smart Practices Spotlight for collaboration and coordination in emergency preparedness and response operations.  FEMA commends Cabarrus for planning a data collection project which will serve multiple departments and assist in the future planning of emergency and non-emergency situations across the county. Mobile Video provided Cabarrus with the data that will be utilized in these efforts, and is proud to have been involved in this landmark data collection project.  The project was supervised by the county GIS Department and will benefit the Tax Assessor's Office, register of deeds, land records, planning department, county commissioners, building inspections, Emergency Management Division, and Sheriff's Department as well.
