Yotta MVS Selected by Miami-Dade County to Complete Property Appraisal Data Review

Miami-Dade County has selected Yotta MVS (the 3D mapping division of OMG plc [LSE:OMG]), a leader in street-level image collection and field data verification services, to assist in the appraisal of over 565,000 of the County’s property parcels, which will include paper-to-digital sketch conversion, geo-referenced sketches, site address verification and street-level image collection.

Yotta MVS is pleased to announce that it will be conducting the annual appraisal review and converting all of the County’s existing paper sketches over to an updated digital format.  With a certified appraiser riding in the van, Yotta MVS field collection crews will be stopping to update information at each parcel.  Each structure will be captured with an image resolution which exceeds industry standards and with specialized framing, unique to Yotta MVS, in which at least 75% of the captured image is comprised of the structure of interest.   
Because Yotta MVS imagery will allow appraisers to review properties more accurately and effectively, Miami-Dade County will be facing fewer appeals in the future.  With Yotta MVS software and digital format sketches that are easier to review, store, update, and integrate, the County will benefit from a more accessible and efficient work environment.
