Yotta to Image & Verify Parcels for the City of Minneapolis

Yotta MVS (the 3D mapping division of OMG plc [LSE:OMG]), a leader in street-level image collection and field data verification services, is currently carrying out a street-view imagery and address verification project with the City of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Yotta MVS contracted with the City of Minneapolis in April and is pleased to announce that it has begun collecting high quality street-view images and performing address verification services for the City.  During the project, Yotta MVS will be collecting street-level images of residential and commercial structures on approximately 98,000 parcels.  Field collection crews will be capturing each structure using high-resolution cameras, framing each structure to provide maximum quality and minimize obstructions like foliage and vehicles.  Additionally, each structure’s street address will be field verified.  The superior quality digital images and updated addressing will allow the City’s assessors to effectively and efficiently review existing and newly improved parcels.  The updated data will also be beneficial to other departments, including e911, local law enforcement, fire and solid waste.  The project is expected to conclude by June.
